Hello, we’re Shawn and Tierney, and we run The Fountain Inn in Plumpton Green.

Whether you’re joining us for a quiet drink, Sunday lunch with family, or stopping by after a walk across the Downs, we want you to feel at home here. It’s a place to slow down, enjoy good food and drink, and feel part of something familiar.

Set at the foot of the South Downs and just a short stroll from Plumpton Racecourse, our pub sits at the heart of the community. We’ve kept it simple: a warm welcome, thoughtful service, and a setting that’s relaxed but well looked after.

Our menu focuses on seasonal, freshly prepared dishes alongside the pub favourites people come back for. We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel — just serve good food, cooked properly, with care.

You’ll find:

  • Sunday roasts served 12–6, always a highlight
